How publishing with Natals works

  • 1. Send us your manuscript

    Share your manuscript and tell us about the book. We read it and tell you honestly which package actually fits.

  • 2. Agreement and package

    You sign a plain agreement confirming your rights, your royalty share and what is included. Then work begins.

  • 3. Editing and design

    Proofreading, cover design and interior typesetting. You see the cover options and you pick.

  • 4. Your approval

    Nothing goes to print until you have read the final proof and signed it off. Corrections happen here, not after.

  • 5. Print and launch

    ISBN registered, copies printed and shipped to you, listings live on Amazon and Flipkart, promotion rolls out.

FAQs

How is my royalty actually calculated?

Royalty is a share of the net profit on every copy sold. Net profit is the sale price minus the printing cost and the platform commission, and your share rises with the package you choose. Our royalty calculator lets you run these numbers against your own book before you commit.

Do I keep the rights to my book?

Yes, on every package. Copyright remains fully with you and Natals holds no ownership over your manuscript at any stage.

Which bracket am I in?

First Timer is for a debut book. Experienced is for authors who already have a title out and readers to grow. Mega Launch is for a book that needs a full campaign behind it. If you are unsure, send us the manuscript and we will tell you honestly which one fits, including when a smaller package is the right answer.

Which all languages manuscript you accept?

We have books published in English, Punjabi, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, Mathili and Malyalam. We do not have any language restrictions. Feel free to connect with us with your specific requirements.

How long does the whole process take?

We try to complete all books within 30 days but it has dependencies on when we get manuscript, how fast the approvals come and many more.
In certain cases we expedite the whole process as well when necessary.

What is the difference between proofreading and editing?

Proofreading catches spelling, grammar and punctuation. Editing reshapes how the writing reads. Every package includes proofreading; higher tiers add line editing, then a full developmental edit. If your book needs a deeper edit than your package covers, our editors quote that separately and we will tell you honestly if we think it needs one.
